Next Event:  April Meet Up!!

Aberdeen Property Networking April Event

We’re continuing April with a thoughtful and perspective-shifting session for anyone involved in property, development, or the wider housing sector.

This month, we’re welcoming Susan Cheyne, from Instant Neighbour, a long-standing Aberdeen charity supporting individuals and families experiencing poverty and financial hardship.

Susan brings a powerful perspective on the realities facing many people across our communities, and how housing, affordability, and financial pressure are deeply interconnected.

She’ll be sharing insight into the challenges individuals and families are currently facing, the role organisations like Instant Neighbour play in providing support, and how the property sector can better understand, and respond to, the wider social context it operates within.

If you’re working in property, development, lettings, or housing, this session offers valuable perspective beyond the numbers.

Why it matters:

Property doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Behind every transaction, tenancy, or development are real people navigating real-life circumstances.

Understanding the pressures facing tenants, buyers, and communities can lead to better decision-making, stronger relationships, and more responsible business practices.

Susan will offer an honest and grounded look at the current landscape, helping property professionals gain a deeper awareness of the social challenges affecting housing today.

Whether you're a property investor, landlord, agent, developer, or adviser, this is an opportunity to broaden your perspective, gain meaningful insight, and connect with others in a relaxed, down-to-earth setting.
